Masterclasses

The LCCH presents frequent Masterclasses on topics of interest where individuals from other hypnotherapy organisations are also invited to attend. People who have trained with the LCCH are able to keep in touch at these meetings and can meet and discuss new ideas and techniques with fellow hypnotherapy professionals. Our Masterclasses provide an ideal opportunity for such periodic contact.

British Society of Clinical Hypnosis

The British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH) is a professional body that governs the Code of Practice and Ethics of its members. Membership of the BSCH is open to those who have acquired the requisite professional and clinical training in the major aspects of hypnotherapy. http://www.bach.org.uk

Holders of the PgCert Clinical Hypnotherapy shall be accepted for Full Membership of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis - MBSCH.

All members of the BSCH are required to sign a formal Code of Conduct, thus maintaining the highest ethical standards of professional practice within the field of hypnotherapy.

Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist

Fellows, Diplomate, Full, Associate and Affiliate members of the BSCH are entitled to be registered on the British Society Register of Clinical Hypnotherapists, for referral of patients. Such members may refer to themselves as "Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist". No designating letters accompany this title.

British Association of Medical Hypnosis (BAMH)

On obtaining their Postgraduate Diploma Clinical Hypnotherapy (PgDip), candidates will be entitled to apply for Affiliate membership of the BAMH to enable their name to be placed on its Medical Register. As well as holding the PgDip, affiliates need to have completed at least one full year's membership of their own approved hypnotherapy society/association, e.g. the BSCH. In addition, they must be proposed by two members of the BAMH.

European Journal of Clinical Hypnosis (EJCH)

The EJCH is recognised throughout the world as being among the leading publications in the field of clinical hypnotherapy and is one that we feel no serious practitioner should be without. For those students and therapists engaged in empirical research in hypnotherapy and its related disciplines it provides an important avenue for publishing. Top of page
